Ann Meldon Hugh — new works
Opens: Thursday 18 August at 7.30pm
Solstice Arts Centre, Navan
Runs until Friday 16 September.
The exhibition will be officially opened by Sister Stanislaus Kennedy.
A picture speaks ten thousands words: one visual image conveys a complex idea or emotion better than ten thousand words. This body of figurative work explores tangible and intangible concepts and emotions central to life, love and survival in modern Ireland. This exhibition of 22 new works in mixed media is sometimes witty, sometimes poignant but always relevant and insightful.
Ann Meldon Hugh is a bronze and ceramic sculptor, living and working in Kells, Co. Meath.
