Guided tour of Kells Type Trail
Congratulations to Mark Smith on the launch of Kells Type Trail. The theme for this year is the word “Belong” and the Type Trail consists of 20 art installations at various locations around the town of Kells. Each
installation will be a different interpretation of the word “Belong” including several translations into the languages of all the nationalities represented in the Kells area. It runs until July 5th.
Well done to all who submitted work to the Arts Trail in Navan. Despite the poor attendance on the evening, it was very enjoyable to stroll around the town and appreciate the Art on display.
Congratulations also to those who were accepted to the Open Submission for “Surveyor” in Solstice. This exhibition runs until August.
Many thanks to Mary Clarke who brought along her work to show the group. She gave a very interesting talk on what inspires her.
