Andy Holland
Andy is a native
of Portsmouth, a city on the southern coast of England. He immigrated to
Ireland in the mid-nineties and has found deep joy in his wife and
children. He enjoys his rural surroundings in North Meath and only pines
for the sea constantly!
He has experimented in various forms of art over the
last twenty years, including (but not limited to), performance art,
drumming in a samba band, pageanteering, sculpture and photography. His
latest ventures include digital photography and pastel sketches. His
work reflects his interest in the beauty of ordinary things, too often
ignored skyscapes and glimpses of the eternal in a night sky, for
example. This journey he wishes you to join with and he hopes that his
naiveté will reap simple rewards. Besides which, the journey itself is
often reward enough. So jump in and get wet, it might be lovely once you
are in!
