Carol Dempsey

Having studied art in the 1970s in London, Carol stopped painting to raise her family. She has now returned to her love of painting and on moving to Dunshaughlin, County Meath about seven years ago joined a local art group and began to sketch and paint once more.

She has exhibited in Dunshaughlin, Kildare and Dalgan Park over the last three years. Her watercolours have featured twice in calendars of local scenes. Carol enjoys photography, painting from life and large canvasses of fantasy flowers.

‘My ambitions for the future are to be able to spend more time painting, meeting other artists and, of course, learning.’
