Caroline Jones
Caroline studied art and photography in Greenhills College,
Drogheda, Co. Louth, and after leaving school worked as a photojournalist at the Drogheda Independent for 7 years. She was a member of the Drogheda Photographic Club and took part in many exhibitions and won awards for her black & white prints and colour slides. Caroline gave up the chemicals of the darkroom for the ease and versatility of digital photography and enjoys creating images in Photoshop. She likes to take landscapes, local scenes and portraits.
Caroline returned to her love of painting after moving to Carlanstown, Kells, where she joined a local art group and participated in exhibitions. She is interested in all types of art; her principal medium being oil and has recently started experimenting with watercolours.
