Orla Garland
Originally from Dublin, Orla moved to Kentstown seven years ago and just loves its beautiful surroundings which has great influence on her paintings. Orla has been sketching for as long as she can remember and always has a pencil in her hand.
As a teenager she attended art classes run by artist Dick Free and started painting five years ago when a group of women set up an art group in the Kentstown village. Spurred on by her late fathers’ (Eddie Brady) painting skills she has absorbed and immersed herself into her love of painting.
‘I hope you enjoy my work.’ – Orla
